“You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.”- Psalm 119:114
This verse shows me how GOD cares for all of us. I say that GOD is like a shield protecting us all for evil things that harm us. The most important thing is He loves everyone in this whole wide world that He wats to block us for all sorts of evil sins. I think a a lot pf people tend to to forget that GOD is always with us no matter what happens.

I agree - keeping in mind that God is always with us both prevents us from falling into temptation, and also remindiing us to get back up whenever we unfortunately do fall into sin.
God is the best shield I've ever had. From Him, we get other kinds of shields as well: Parents, Friends, Angels, Church, Prayer, etc.

Revalations 19:11-16
11"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that know one knows but himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has the name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."
This passage just shows how great and how powerful Jesus really is. The book of Revelations is one of my favorites because it shows what lies ahead for all the believers, I find that this also helps me realize how many people in the world that have never heard The Word of God and need to be reached to become a believer in God. _________________ "I call on the LORD in my distress, and he answers me." - Psalms 120:1 |
